Carbon fibrous materials (PAN) maid on a basis of a polyacrylonitrile fiber are widely applied as in manufacturing of production military, and civil appointment. High-tensile (HT) and high-modulus carbon materials on the basis of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fibers are used as reinforcing fillers of structural composite materials (carbon fiber-reinforced plastics, CFRP).

  • Low density
  • In specific characteristics (to the relation of durability and rigidity to density) constructional carbon fiber-reinforced plastics surpass all known metal analogues, such as a steel, the titan, aluminium, an alloy in 5-8 times

Experience of application constructional high-tensile and high-modulus carbon materials has shown their efficiency in designs of aircrafts. Use carbon fiber-reinforced plastics in designs of planes (a chassis shutter, brace strut, air inlets, panels of a floor, etc.) have allowed to increase rigidity of products in 1,5-2 times, having lowered simultaneously weight of a product on 15-40 % in comparison with metal analogue. According to the spent calculations it is shown that capacities for storage and transportation liquefied gas carbon fiber-reinforced plastic are capable to maintain pressure 160-200 atm. at decrease in weight of capacity on 30-40 %.
